How should I dispose of my car?My car is older and relatively reliable (a 1992 Subaru Legacy), but I had an issue that managed to take out the transmission and engine at the same time. Ouch. The cost for me to repair is roughly $1500, more than the roughly $1000 value of the car. However, I'm not sure what the best method is (or even what all my options are) for disposing of the car. Donate to a charity? Call a junkyard to see if they'll pick it up? Craigslist ad? |
