What happened to PugetPass upgrades for Link?Today I took the train south for the first time in approx. 6 weeks, and discovered that the Link ticket vending machines no longer seem to allow one to purchase an upgrade with one's monthly pass. I'm accustomed to simply depositing a quarter to boost my $2.25 pass for the full trip fare. This time I had to swipe my debit card, both ways, paying $5 altogether. Why punish committed transit users? I suppose it has something to do with the fare evaders, but that did rather muss my vibes this morning. Wah. |
