My favorite is in Olympic Manor in Ballard. I find it be superior to Candy Cane Lane.

Tonight while crossing 520 I noticed a little parade of boats all decorated with lights... it looked like they were going through the Montlake cut between Lake Union & Lake Washington. Not sure if this is a scheduled thing, but might be worth checking out if you dig xmas lights!

If you live in the north end, there's a little cul-de-sac in Brier that goes all out. There's a story and address here: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/showthread.php?t=83279

My favorite house was the Jewish one. They went nuts with menorahs and blue and white lights!

I also think that the King 5 website has a holiday light finder. I can't find it now, so maybe it's a bit too early. But you can at least go to the website and search for "holiday lights"...you'll get lots of hits.

The Metro Employees Historic Vehicle Association (MEHVA) does a holiday lights bus tour once a year. This year it's on Saturday December 11. I've been told that once you pay your $5 and board one of the vintage buses, you get a map of the route. I've also been told that the tour is full of kids and everyone sings Christmas carols along the route. I have absolutely no interest in that aspect of it, so my plan is to show up, pay my $5, get the map, and follow the route on my own. The actual tour is THREE HOURS LONG. Way too long for my taste. But that map is probably very helpful if you can get your hands on a copy.
