Good place in Seattle to buy an old VCR?

I just ended up with a VHS tape I'd like to watch in the coming week. I'd rather not buy a new one if possible, since there are enough VCRs in this world. Would Goodwill be the place to go? I'm wondering if there were any stores that might be more choice.

I would think Goodwill or some other thrift store would be your best bet. I donated my old VCR to Goodwill and it still worked.

Goodwill. Absolutely. Bigger and better selection than Salvation Army, usually. Better prices and less picked through than Value Village. Go to the one at 1400 South Lane off of Rainier just south of Jackson. It's huge. You can probably pick one up with a remote for five to ten bucks.

You could always rent one from Scarecrow for $4 a day. It'll probably be a much nicer piece of equipment than what you'd find at a thrift store.
