Covered playgrounds - why doesn't Seattle have them? / Where are they hiding?Gasworks has a limited covered area, but that's it. In a city known for drizzle, WTF? U Village has the only outdoor (private) one I can think of. REI has a nice little play area, but I'd rather not have consumer guilt when only using them for my playground needs. ;) Twirl Cafe, Woodland Park Zoo, and others like them charge teh money$. I'm wanting a covered PLAYGROUND, like in a park, anyway. Have I missed the hidden motherlode somewhere? (I'm trying not to resort to using McD's "Playspaces"). |
