What's your favorite coffeeshop to get work done?

I love reading and writing in coffee shops, and when I do so, I really need to get work done. So my qualifications are: music that's both not too loud, which I've found to be disappointingly hard to come by; a place that's big enough to avoid loud conversations; somewhere with at least somewhat comfortable places to sit; and decent lighting.

I like Neptune Coffee on Greenwood. There are a couple couches in the front, a couple in back, and chairs spread throughout. The coffee is really good and most customers are either passing through, or doing exactly what you're looking to do. Plus, they have delightful Molly Moon's ice cream and a Stitch and Bitch on Wednesday nights. It's a really cool place. They help out 826 Seattle and other kids' organizations, but I've never been in there and seen a child, which is great and part of my criteria for being able to get work done.

I try to go to the Street Bean in Belltown when I really want to be productive. There's usually lot of space, the coffee is delicious, and it has a cool social mission to boot. It's a nonprofit that provides job training to previously homeless youth, and they serve Agros coffee- another neat nonprofit that helps alleviate poverty in Central America.

Online Coffee company.. both @ the 15th and pine location and the harvard and olive way location. I come here to read all the time. they have comfy chairs, mediocre-good ( depending on who the barista is that day ) coffee and nice mood, music lighting whatever.

I love Liberty on 15th Ave, Capitol Hill. Truly a neighborhood place, with taste but not pretentious. Stumptown beans, good prices, reliable wifi. Then, at 4pm, it becomes a mixologist bar with sushi - a nice reward for your hard work over coffee.

I heart Victrola on Pike; it's my new favorite spot. Great coffee, vibe, and friendly baristas. And they allow dogs to hang out, which is a plus in my book.
