  2 0 I like Neptune Coffee on Greenwood. There are a couple couches in the front, a couple in back, and chairs spread throughout. The coffee is really good and most customers are either passing through, or doing exactly what you're looking to do. Plus, they have delightful Molly Moon's ice cream and a Stitch and Bitch on Wednesday nights. It's a really cool place. They help out 826 Seattle and other kids' organizations, but I've never been in there and seen a child, which is great and part of my criteria for being able to get work done. http://www.neptunecoffee.com/index.php Julia Wayne answered in Coffee & Tea about 1 year ago | Report 2 comments by Sphinx and Julia Wayne… 0 0 I was just in here the other day and it seemed like a great place to work- the chairs all have little tables, there is lots of light, the music wasn't too loud, and it was full of students cramming for finals. :) But they were out of ice cream and the guy at the counter said they hadn't ordered any in months (boo). They have coffee and beer and wine and sandwiches, soups (made from scratch), etc. The staff is pretty rad and there's wifi. There is plenty of seating at the counter and tons of table around.   2 0 I try to go to the Street Bean in Belltown when I really want to be productive. There's usually lot of space, the coffee is delicious, and it has a cool social mission to boot.   1 0 I love Liberty on 15th Ave, Capitol Hill. Truly a neighborhood place, with taste but not pretentious. Stumptown beans, good prices, reliable wifi.   1 1 I heart Victrola on Pike; it's my new favorite spot. Great coffee, vibe, and friendly baristas. And they allow dogs to hang out, which is a plus in my book. I once spent 19 hours in a Denny's in Ontario, California reading a book, writing a paper, and drinking pale beige coffee-scented water. I'm pretty sure that when a Denny's opens, they're given one coffee filter and one can of Folger's and they just reuse each for the life of the restaurant.
