'for-Qland's-next-update' suggestion: Could we have a way to search/organize the top contributor's various stats?

GrannySmith recently brought up an interesting (ok, interesting to me anyway) point - that Geni had a prolific number of Answers. (WTG Geni!)
Ah.. But how to know for sure? Other than clicking on each and every avatar, I don't see a way to find this info , you know, -sorted-
Could we utilize the full power of this SpaceStation aka Interweb TECHNOLOGY for this purpose?

Is there any chance Qland could have a stats spreadsheet that we could play with , where we could look up who's had a lot of featured Q's, who's been getting thumbs up, who's got the best thumbsup vs thumbs down ratio, that sort of thing?

Thanks!

By the way:
We are indeed curious (& needy) beings here, Qland staffers. We thank and love you for feeding our habits.

    Rev,

    Nice demo of the OCD.

I know the Gnome has things planned for minor refinement to the reputation system. The main one being to easily see the "stats" in terms of the last week/month rather than being limited to "all time".

I will suggest that he introduce other sorting filters (perhaps under an OCD tab) so that you (and only you?) could perform some more detailed analysis.

Keep in mind that we intentionally implemented a very simple reputation system in the belief that over-engineering it was of limited benefit and would potentially cause more confusion than value.

Thankfully, we are a close enough community that we intuitively know quite a bit about who is best at what regardless of what the numbers may say. I personally pay almost no attention to them.

The Gnome is hard at work at some very interesting and useful new additions (most prominently QL Mobile) and once he has moved on from that I'll see if he is open to reputation enhancements.

Thanks as always for your ongoing ideas, suggestions and participation. I'll still like you even when you get to a hundred shrooms.

This is probably more of interest to the folks that have been here for a long time.

I joined this forum when I was asked to participate in one of the special question weeks - Pets. Later it was decided to make that a continuing feature and I agreed to stay on. I have tried to keep my answers to my own area of expertise or to add comments to ones where I think the issue was expanded by my comment. There are contributors that seem to answer every question and the quality of those responses have seemed to degrade over time. The quick little one liner quips can rarely add to the questioner's knowledge and seem to be more about the competition of being a ubiquitous voice here.

These kinds of proposed features would make the Questionland environment more about the participants and less about the give and take of information.

I am here as much to hear what other's say than to hear my own voice or compare participant's records of achievement.
