What are you trying to get rid of? "detox" is a nothing word commonly used with the same promiscuity as "energy" or "purge."

Cut out sugar, coffee, alcohol, and white flour for at least 30 days. Drink lots of tea and water. Stretch and sweat a lot.

It will suck for a few days and you'll start to feel like you would club a baby seal for a cookie and a latte, but trust me, you'll feel great after about a week.

    Watching King5:
Especially watching John Curly embarass himself publicly before the fireworks go off- this pretty much keeps me clean/sober for the 1st 6 months of each year. It's such a backhanded public service announcement, but I love it. I think they changed guys last year though. :(

The Herbalist has an amazing cleanse. I'm a healthy person who doesn't buy into bullshit (usually) and I found theirs to be incredible. http://www.theherbalist.com/internal-cleansing.html They're a local company, and it's on sale right now. If nothing else- check out their cleansing guide (free PDF) and try to follow it as much as you can without the supplements if you choose not to use them. I blogged about my experience: http://www.areyoumyghost.com/2010/04/week-long-cleanse-breakdown.html

Cut down your food consumption, drink lots of water and tea. Increase your intake of veggies and leafy greens. And have a bentonite and psyllium shake as well; followed by lots of water.
