What financial or tax related things should I do before the end of the year?

Not long left and I always seem to get to tax time and think I should have done something different... but of course I forget about it until next year.

Make your deposit to your personal IRA ASAP so that it can be earning as much as possible, as soon as possible.

My favorite year-end tax moves are to make sure to pay my property taxes and sell any of my individual stock holdings where I have a loss.
