Overstock/discontinued paper store?

When I lived in Ohio I loved this store called Hollo's... they were a warehouse in the middle of nowhere, but had a ridiculous selection of stationary, drawing paper, specialty paper, mostly stuff that had been discontinued by paper companies. You could get huge quantities of paper and other craft supplies for super-cheap.

I want to find my Seattle Hollo's. Anyone know of a place?

The Salvage Broker, 13760 Aurora Avenue North, (206) 365-7771, is what you want. No web page. You might want to bring some hand wipes for later; it is, shall we say, a little untidy.

I want to check out The Salvage Broker, thanks Fnarf.

I remembered a place I used to go to that I thought was like what you described and did a little looking.

Its now called The Paper Zone. From the description on their website I see now that when I went there they were an outlet store for West Coast Paper (WCP).

    From their website:

    Company History

The roots of Paper Zone go back over thirty years to 1970, when the founding company, West Coast Paper, opened its first retail outlet in Bellevue, Washington. The store, known as Paper Pickup, served as an outlet store for WCP, a regional distributor of office and printing supplies. In 1992, the company, having grown to six stores, was spun off from WCP and renamed Paper Zone.

Still it may be worth a look sometime (they have a number of locations.)
