What local organic produce delivery service do your recommend?

I want a biweekly home delivery with the ability to opt out of iteams i'll never use. The ideal match would support local farmers and not just local foodie/ yuppie trends of the moment. I actually want to participate in my diet and local economy.

    I second full circle. http://www.fullcirclefarm.com/
I live alone and receive a box every other week by sending a brief message with my preferred delivery dates. You have the option to sub out items you don't want. You can double up on "default" items featured that week, or choose from a pretty decent selection of other seasonal fruits and vegs. I love it.
Some weeks, I have just enough - and others I have way too much and end up freezing a few items. They also have a grocery section to add additional produce, as well as pastured beef and pork. Plus, you can pay weekly. I wanted to join Tiny's, a true CSA, but I couldn't afford to front $900 for the start of the season. Full Circle has their own farm as well as providing produce from other local farms, including Tiny's! I'm not missing a thing.

I've been using New Roots Organics for about 3 years now and I love them!

They deliver a bin to your front door every two weeks full of organic, and local (if it's in season) fruit and produce. When you set up your account you can select things that you never want, things you will always want, etc. You can also sub items in each individual bin, or simply add on items if you like. It's a really great value at $35 for a standard bin, which had my husband and I eating tons of great fresh fruit and veg for two weeks. The personal bin is $25 I think.

I really love Full Circle Farm, they are in Carnation, WA. All produce is organic, mostly local, although to get variety in the winter some is not. They tell you exactly what farm it came from if not theirs, send you an email every week so you can swap items you don't want for ones you do, and the have a pretty extensive grocery store too.
It costs $32 a week to have a small box sent to a central pickup spot (there are 75 or 80 in the Seattle area so it's not hard to find one near you) or pay $4 more to deliver to your house. Small box is good for two people and totally worth it
I am almost positive you can set up for biweekly instead of weekly, you can also pay in 10 week increments for 5% off. I have used them for over 3 years and would recommend them highly. When we had a kid and money got tight we decided to give up the cable and phone rather than our precious box...:)

Sound Organics is amazing! The cheapest you will find in all of Seattle! They guarantee their products and the customer service is top notch. They charge a lot less than other delivery services, and they deliver to more places than other companies too!

I've been using Spud for a few years now and am really happy with them. The company itself is not local, but they do source much of their produce and other products from local farmers and businesses. You can set up your account with your produce preferences and whether you want all local stuff, or not. They're also more of a full organic grocery store, so potentially you could get all, or at least almost all, of your groceries from them. They'll deliver to your door for free if your order meets their $33 dollar threshold.
