Where can I find maple sugar candies in Seattle?

I am looking for those wonderful (often maple leaf shaped) candies I used to be able to get in Vermont. Any thoughts?

Try Cost Plus World Market down on the waterfront.

I found some at Whole Foods during the holidays but they may be gone now.

PCC Markets had them around the holidays - they still may - worth a look! I adore those candies - love how they slowly melt in your mouth. the flavor! the sugar high! ah!

Since maple isn't a Washington State thing, I don't supposed you'd see them in any of the gift stores around town like you would see throughout Vermont. I have seen them in stores in Vancouver - because maple is a thing in Canada...obviously.

Have you tried Trader Joe's? Specialty items like maple candies (and syrup) are their stock and trade. Other than that, I'd suggest an upscale grocery that stocks EVERYTHING (like Larry's used to). Are there any stores like that left?

If you don't have any luck in Seattle, I take it that you do know about Vermont Country Store:

    http://www.vermontcountrystore.com/products/all-natural-food-and-classic-candy/Vermont-Maple-Products.html.

In the meantime, Safeway has imported (Canadian) Dare Brand maple-leaf cookies with maple creme filling that are a nice substitute until you can get your hands on what you want.
