Reccomend a quality health/day spa? After seven months of a really stressful job with no breaks including the holidays, I find myself in need of a day of solitude and pampering. Here's my wish list: - Within 30 minutes of Seattle or Eastside. If in Seattle, something with some cheap/free parking would be appreciated. - I want to be a sloth for the day; zone out in a hot tub or sauna, catch up on some Steven King on a lounge chair, maybe nap/"meditate" to some of that calming nature music/wood flute. - My dream includes complimentary tea, or water with fruit in it. - I'm not sure of spa-bum etiquette, but I assume that I should get a massage or something to be a good spa patron. Though I wouldn't mind a 90 minute massage or a facial with mud from the Dead Sea, I really can't pay more than $50 and am willing to get a shorter, cheaper service, like having someone cut my cuticles or whatever. Then again, if I am wrong and you know of a place where I can pay to be a sloth and not get a service, that would work too! I don't know if this makes a difference, but I am a chick. Namaste, biatches! |
