what is the most addictive sandwich in seattle?

Lunching every day, a sandwich can get boring, but it doesn't have to be. Any suggestions?

The banh mi at Saigon Deli (ID) and Monkey Bridge (Ballard) are excellent. Both have perfectly crispy/soft bread and a generous helping of well-seasoned meat and julienned vegetables.

Paseo is home to the best Cuban sandwiches around (The #1 and #2 are the best, in my opinion).

I love the meatball sandwich at Romio's.

The Rajun Cajun at The Other Coast Cafe is incredible. (Ballard, Capitol Hill). It is Cajun style turkey, pepper jack, cheese, tomato & onion with spicy salsa mayo.

I think the Monte Cristo at KISS Cafe (Ballard) is ridiculous (plus they have about 20 other sandwiches to choose from). I also love their Thanksgiving Hangover, which actually just cures all hangovers and ailments.

The gyros at Plaka Estiatorio and Taki's Mad Greek (both Ballard) are excellent, although you should get your sandwich to go at Taki's--the lady at the counter is crazy and not in a fun way. Plus, both these restaurants have bigger, better sandwiches in my opinion than Mr. Gyro's and they don't run out at 8 o'clock like Mr. Gyro's does. Not that I'm bitter.

My vote goes for the Thai-Chicken sandwich (#1 on the menu) at Flowers. It has avocado, delicious aoli, red onion and serrano pepper on an amazing roll. The blend of spicy and creamy is perfect.

    Places/Sandwiches i dig:
    Paseo, natch
    Bakeman's Turkey with cranberry
    Baguette Box glazed Chicken thing
    Salumi's everything
    Cucina de Santos Sausage etc

I miss the old Still life cafe soups and sandwiches.

i also like the deli meat selection at the Central market- Best i know of in the north end. Awesome roast beef, nice imported provolone, various salumi meats, etc.

looking forward to trying some of the suggestions here. i haven't found a rueben or monte cristo that compares with what one finds back in old new york.

I second the "anything at Paseo" comment and add the egg sandwich at Nettletown, which I am a fiend for and won't shut up about. Perfectly cooked egg, great bread, nice bright veggies/sauce. Plus it's a bargain.

I went out to eat today at a different restaurants with a friend who also likes the Nettletown sandwich. She ordered this other place's version of an egg sandwich, and afterwards declared that Nettletown had ruined her for all other egg sandwiches.

Currently: The Hodge Podge @ the Chelsea Deli in Columbia City. Roast beef, roasted garlic, carmelized onions, swiss, bleu cheese, bacon, drippings. Yeah.

SANDWICHES! We did an investigation into exactly this topic a while back: "Sandwiches We Have Loved: The Staff of The Stranger Sings the Praises of the Best Thing Since Sliced Bread" (the comments also contain many more beloved sandwiches). Now I must go have a sandwich, probably a turkey and Swiss at the Other Coast Cafe, which has become my favorite for that basic (more details on that over here). SANDWICHES!

I was addicted to the tofu Banh-mi at Sun Bakery for 2 years. Now it's been replaced by the TLT (tempeh-lettuce-tomato) at the Highline. Both are vegetarian highly addictive!
