Fun, healthy food for the "munchies"?

I would like to not have to worry about eating too much bad food when I'm high, and I'm sure my friends will like the idea as well. It's uncommon, but I've come close to eating a whole pint of ice cream in one weed-sponsored night before realizing how quickly it disappeared. It's probably because I'm paying more attention to a conversation than to how much I'm eating.

So I'm trying to think of healthy foods that I can eat with a good conscience. They should also be satisfyingly fun for a high person talking about the next big ideological movement, or why someone named their Commander Shepard "DEXTER" in all caps.

Carrots and seaweed are good examples because they're both fun (crunchy and crispy, respectively) and at least relatively tasty and healthy. You get the idea!

    If you're eating raw vegetables (carrots, celery, cherry tomatoes, snap peas as Sphinx suggested, etc.), try dipping them in hummus. There are a lot of flavors/varieties in the stores these days so you can switch it up.

    For sweet stuff, dried apricots are always good snacking food, as are (fresh) kumquats if you can find them.

    Apple slices with cheese or peanut butter are good if you're looking for the sweet/salty combo.

    Veggie Booty. Or even the white cheddar Pirate Booty. Both are pretty low in saturated fat and the Veggie Booty actually has kale and spinach in it. Steer clear of that new New York Pizza variety, though. All the weed in the world can't make that taste good.

    I am a huge fan of raw almonds. They are packed with good fats so even if you eat a lot, it's good for you.

    If you're ok with sodium, snacking on roasted/salted sunflower seeds is great too. Satisfying because there's a bit of work to extract the seed and that prevents you from eating too many. Also good for you. same goes for pumpkin seeds which are rich with healthful minerals, protein and monounsaturated fat.

    Try air-popped popcorn without butter. Instead, try various spices like cajun, cinnamon/sugar, etc. Fresh foods like berries (even frozen berries from the bag can be pretty delicious), grapes, and snap peas are also a good idea if you're not going to be controlling your portions very well. If you've got to have something salty and crunchy, pretzels are a better alternative than, say, potato chips.

    I love to eat blueberries when I'm stoned, because they're delicious, sweet, healthy, and you can pop them like candy! You can eat 100 of them and its actually good for you! Same with grapes.
    I also love dry cereal like Puffins, the TJs frosted mini wheats, and granola (but not too much!). High fiber and again, you can eat many handfuls of it and not do damage.
    Assorted nuts
    Dried fruit
    Hummus and pita bread is another good one...
    Oh we love to make fruit, Greek honey yogurt, and granola parfaits..
    I make a snack tray of those Italian marinated veggies, cheese, assorted nuts, crackers, and whatever else you may have to throw on there, variety is key when satisfying the munchies!
    Just be sure to stock your fridge w/healthy stuff so that is what you have available and you wont be as tempted to go to 7-11 for slurpies & nachos or to order pizza.

    The crunchy stuff is easy. Some good suggestions already. It's the sweet and creamy that I find easy to abuse when high.

    My current go to is various yogurts. That aussie style one is particulary good and creamy and sweet. there is a fat free version.

    I also indulge in some tufuti cutie type things. Theya re just sweet and creamy enough to scratch the itch but not so orgasmically delish when high that you want to keep eating it.

    Friday I made the mistake of buying a couple of chocolate shakes for myself and the boy. Each sip felt like I was hitting a crack pipe. Soooooo gooooood.
