In the 70's I read a book about the chronological history of one mound in Israel. What's it's name??It was written by a very popular author. It doesn't seem to have been by Leon Uris, but I'm not sure. It started with a family in the cave man days and followed that family's descendants through the iron age, the bronze age, the Persians, the Egyptians, the Romans, all the way to present day. Everything centered around that one hill or mound in Israel. It was such a great book, I want to read it again and share it with my sons. The title meant "the mound" but that doesn't seem to be the name of the book.
