Which SNL cast member was immediately fired after the show in which he did something controversial?

The latest promo for primetime special of SNL clips taunts to share the most shocking, controversial, or edgy material... including the story of someone who was fired immediate after the show.

I'm thinking it might have been Andy Kaufman (*Andy, are you locked in the Paunch?) either for the mud-wrestling or for not showing up.. etc.

Who else would it be?

    I remember when they had open phone voting (January 1983) to decide if Andy Kaufman should be dumped or allowed to return for other appearances on the show. The ultimate decision was in favor of dumping him.
