When do shows at the SODO Showbox typically end?

After purposely avoiding the SODO Showbox forevers, I finally have to go there for a show. For shows that have an 8pm doors, when does the show itself typically end? Do they have a hard limit for an end time? (I likely will be walking or bussing back to the downtown core, so I'm just trying to get a sense of what to expect.)

For bonus points: I've heard that sometimes they don't open the doors on schedule. Is this true? For a sold out 8pm doors show what can I expect? Will I be standing in the cold and rain outside while silently composing a negative yelp review?

    All ages shows are often over by midnight. 21+ shows by 1am. They have to have the place cleared out by 1:30am.

    I don't think it is an exact science, but most shows that I go to end around 1am. You should be fine showing up later than 8 in case they don't open right away - there will likely be several opening acts that you can afford to miss.

    At this point in my life, I realize I am too old to stand for 6 hours to watch a show, so I sometimes don't show up till 10-11 just to watch the main acts.

    Last show I saw there, General Public played on and on and on. We actually had to leave before the show ended, but it was near midnight.
