when would be an appropriate time to "renew" your vows?

our wedding happened 6 years ago, in our family's living room. it was sweet and just what we wanted, however, sometimes I fantasize about going to mexico and doing it all again on a beach somewhere.. is that lame? should I save it for our 25th anniversary?

Happy Valentine's Day to a true romantic! If you want to walk down the aisle again do it! MEXICO is always a good choice. Sun, sand, tacos, love . . . these are things that are always appropriate whether you are a 20 year old newlywed or have already been hitched for a quarter century.  A destination wedding can be low key and fun especially since you are already married, friends and family that would like to share in this new step in your love adventure can certainly choose to come. And, since you already did it once you are an expert. If you want to wear a radically different outfit that reflects the you of now or hire a better photographer, now's your chance.

Write vows now with the advantage of history together as a married partnership. You can start a blog about your renewal or learn how to Salsa for your first dance. No need to save it for later. A renewing of vows can put some pep in your step. It can be a fun project to work on as a team. It can help you keep S.A.D. at bay. And who knows what will happen when it's your 25th anniversary, maybe Virgin Galactic will be having a huge sale.

I say go for it as soon as you can! Who's to say you couldn't re-renew again at some point in the future?

This is truly inspiring!! Married six years and you still want to share your love with your family & friends! I say go for it!! They didn't get to celebrate with you the first time around, so I'm sure they'd love to come and toast your marriage!

Mexico is gorgeous, Hawaii too - really anyplace with sun and sand, you are good to go! My favorite destination wedding was in Playa del Carmen - just outside of Cancun.

    CONGRATS!!!
