What's a good hotel/ short term rental for my parents to stay for 2 weeks?

that's not on aurora, and reasonably priced/ recession friendly. i'd prefer somewhere close to capitol hill/ downtown.

*they're east coast. do not care for public transit, most minorities, poor people, industrial areas....

i figured the silver cloud inn on broadway would be perfect, but that shit is like $225/ night.

The Moore downtown is pretty fantastic. It has a ton of character, has been recently renovated, and is reasonably priced.

The University Inn (http://www.universityinnseattle.com/) is not a bad place to stay. I hate giving recommendations, because I wouldn't want to be responsible for something bad, but it is a decent place. It has various types of rooms--from standard to more high end--and it has a pool/hot tub and lots of parking. It is a hop-skip-and jump from Capitol Hill. Price depends on room of course. I don't know what kind of posh or non-posh they are used to. It is easy for cab drop-off and pick-up.
