Those full-page newspaper ads that promise an end to back pain ... what do those clinics actually do?I never paid much attention to these ads until I herniated a disc, but now that my damn back always hurts, I'm noticing them more and more. These clinics can end my back pain forever! Without painful surgery! I'm almost positive these claims are total bullshit, but I'm curious as to exactly what variety. Pseudoscience? Oogie boogie? Placebo effect? Care to enlighten me? |
