Is there no typewriter repair shop in Seattle?

The New York Times told me I'm finally cool because I have typewriters! I want to get one serviced but have no idea where to do this. They still fix old sewing machines, why not typewriters?

For reference purposes, putting in a link to this story...

    "Typewriter shop to be history":

I wish I had gone there more often.

What kind of servicing does your machine need? Just a general tune-up or are there specific troubles with it? What's the make/model?

I googled it and one of the first websites that came up was the following and it has a state by state listing of repair shops. Appears to be current but didn't comb site to confirm that:

    http://site.xavier.edu/polt/typewriters/tw-repair.html

In general sounds like the thing to do is to call the handful of office supply places that are on the opposite side of the continuum of Office Depot. The whole site is dedicated to typewriter aficionados.

Hell, I used a typewriter until 1992. Laptops were crazy expensive, I was travelling fulltime and needed a way to print and often. Still I was the only person I knew who was using one :o
