which Amtrak stations in the greater Seattle/Tacoma/Everett area have free parking?

My family likes to take the train to Portland together. We're all scattered around King County, in the City, in the suburbs, so we usually like to meet up at one particular station and board together to keep things simple. In the past we've always chosen King Street Station. The kicker is that these days we're usually traveling with golf clubs or skis which makes taking transit to the station a royal pain in the ass. And parking at King Street Station is obnoxiously expensive.

So, which stations have free parking where we can leave a car for the weekend? Edmonds? Tukwilla? Everett? Anywhere?

I know Everett has free parking, though you have to check in with security if you're going to leave a car there for longer than 72 hours. Edmonds also has free parking, but I think whether you can park there long-term is ambiguous. We always used to leave a car there for up to a week when we went hiking on the Olympic Peninsula, but that was back before the Sounder and Cascades services had really taken off.

I'm not familiar with the Tukwila station, but the website says it has free parking too.

I have been told that you can stay 72 hours at Longacres/Tukwila.

    It says here:

"Free overnight and short term parking"

We also have enjoyed riding the Amtrak Cascades line to Portland for day trips.

If you pull down the "Stations" menu on the website below you can read particulars for each stop which includes information about parking (designated as free or paid).
