What's the best dye brand for alternative color?

I've just recently dyed parts of my hair blue, purple, and pink using Manic Panic. But after just 2 weeks, it looks like green, purple, and orange. I understand hair color fades. And Yes, I did bleach my hair first. But I'm also sick of the constant worry of having my hair run when I get it wet in the rain.
Is there an alternative brand that you would recommend for coloring my hair these (or other) colors? Is there an actual dye I could use, as opposed to a semi perm?
Oh! And is there a shampoo you would recommend for keeping color in longer? I have really oily hair, and need to wash it everyday. I've tried to do every other day since I added the color, but I just feel dirty when I don't wash it every day.

Thank you!

Special Effects. Don't bother with manic panic. It will end up all over your pillow and other pretty things.

I don't have any advice for super permanent crazy colors. I know people have had better luck with other brands such as Special Effects as far as staying power. Certain colors, such as vivid pinks, tend to stain hair which would, overtime, create a longer color hold.
I do my hair crazy colors from time to time. I shower every day with a shower cap on and wash my hair every 4 days or so. Perhaps a dry shampoo would come in handy for you?
Pastel hair is all the rage right now so you could always go that route because the fade is always attractive.
As far as shampoo, some companies make crazy color shampoo (Manic Panic at least used to) but you can do the same by mixing dye into your conditioner and keeping it on for 10 mins or so while you shower.
