  4 0 The Q & A was fairly awful and embarrassing. The first question was yelled out randomly (while Spike was in the middle of something) she asked, "If you could teach the audience how to be famous, what would you say?" THE WORST POSSIBLE QUESTION. Other notable questions: "Can I get a picture?" "Would you ever consider doing a documentary on a woman's road to private dancer?" "Would you ever do a documentary on the families of the military..or something?" "Why did Miracle at St. Anna affect African-Americans so much?" "I am here with my film group peeps, do you advise sticking with them after school?" "I am fifteen and all the arts have been cut from the budget, how do I get involved?" Those are the stupidest questions I've ever heard. How embarrassing. Geni commented over 2 years ago | Report 0 0 The craziness started only five minutes into the Q&A when a guy started yelling at Spike about Morehouse College. Couldn't tell what he was saying because I was in the balcony. The guy ended up walking out. Somebody else asked a question about how today's youth can use Facebook, Twitter, etc. to empower themselves (Spike's answer: read a book). Maybe I didn't hear it correctly but I thought the lady who suggested he do a documentary on stripping said he should show young girls how NOT to become strippers! The questions were so bad that when someone asked him about the camera techniques he used in his Kobe Bryant documentary, the people around me started cheering because it wasn't an idiotic question. Besides the stupid audience questions, there was also the horrible interview by David Poland. Most of his questions were along the lines of "So, then you made [title of the movie], how'd you come up with that?" He also asked Spike if acting in a Nike commercial with Michael Jordan was a dream come true and if he liked being "a symbol." Ugh. Cristin commented over 2 years ago | Report 0 0 David Poland was absolutely horrible. He was falling over himself to lavish praise on Spike, and Spike definitely was not feelin it. I really got a distinct sense that our city simply cannot handle really famous people coming to visit. The dude's question about the Kobe movie was great, and it was really the only time it seemed that Spike was enthusiastic about answering a question.
