What should we do for a 40th birthday?

My husband is turning 40 in May, and we DON'T want to throw a party at our house.

We have looked into group camps, but it being May, most of them have been booked for months and months. We had found a big rental house to share with friends, but it turned out that it was too in-city to really make it more different than our current lifestyle!

Anything high-budget is out of the question. If we rent a house or cabins, we need places for at least 18 to sleep. If we stay in Seattle, a regular bar party is not going to cut it. AND to top it off, nothing too physical (bowling / rollerskating & the like) as there are some mobility issues too.

This party will be fairly rowdy, but not irresponsible.
