What are some good romantic spots in Victoria, BC?

I want to take my girlfriend to someplace secluded for a nice weekend. She had mentioned wanting to go to Victoria. Any tips?

Victoria is crazy romantic. Find a B&B near Beacon Hill Park -- Fairfield and James Bay are nice -- or a boutique hotel downtown. The city is so small that the park and beaches are within walking distance. Rent scooters and ride up Dallas Road/Beach Drive, check out the view on King George Crescent, stop at Willows Beach or Cadboro Bay. Or, from downtown, take a walk over the bridge and along the Songhees walkway, or follow Belleville around until you get to the breakwater. For a killer dinner and view, go to Vista 18, at the top of Chateau Victoria.

If by secluded you mean not in the city, and you want something fancy, check out Sooke Harbour House or the Aerie resort and spa. Expensive, but I've heard they're worth it.

The Parliament building is right on the waterfront.  They light it up at night and its pretty romantic.  You can see it in the back right of this photo.  There is an awesome ice cream sundae (I think its called Roger's) right across the street from the building.  Grab a ridiculously good sundae, then park it on the lawn in front of the Parliament building and enjoy.
