How to minimize virus threat when downloading torrents?Seems like most to all of the malware that caused the contents of my C drive to be destroyed can be traced to my use of UTorrent to download movies. Do the viruses get in through the download site, through the UTorrent (or other) client, or through the .mpg, .avi, or whatever files? Is there a way to test for potential problems before downloading/opening a file? Are there any torrent clients that are consistently more/less safe than others? Recommendations, please!! |
