Go to the Pink Door on Saturday night - the cabaret (usually some drag) starts at 11 - great Italiany food and cocktails. Sit in the back bar area - get there about 8 or 9, have dinner and just hang out. A great little room! that's my favorite birthday place

I love the Waterwheel in Ballard. The drinks taste bottom-shelf, so order beer. But the crowd is so weird and diverse and trashy and nice. The bartenders are awesome. Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights which my friends and I go dance to and usually others will join. It's in a trailer and gets pretty packed on those nights. Maybe I'm just biased because my boyfriend sang Celine Dion's "My Heart Will Go On" there. Fuckin diva.

Come hither to Spinasse! Smack in the middle of Cap Hill. Good food, handmade pastas, nice winelist and a staff that really wants you to have an awesome evening. Easy access to the oyster that is nightlife on the Hill after dinner. Say Hi!

There's also Julias. Go for dinner and then stay for the drag show. It's great and a lot of fun.
