Has anyone read the book "Isaac's Storm" by Seattle author Erik Larson?

What did you think of this? I'm currently reading his "Devil in the White City" due to the recommendation of a co-worker who says she couldn't put it down to the last page...

Devil in the White City is easily Larson's best book. I enjoyed them all, but don't expect any of the others to wow you as seriously as Devil did.

Agreed. It's good, but it's not that good. Ditto Larsen's later book about Marconi and wireless communication. May I suggest The Worst Hard Time by Egan if you're looking for compelling non-fiction by a local author? It's great in a completely different way!

i didn't like isaac's storm as much as i liked devil in the white city (but i'm a bit world's fair obsessed). definitely worth reading though.
