What restaurants/ bars should I hit up in Portland in June?

I'm going for my birthday! Big budget. I love cocktails and wine, and also dancing. Where would I enjoy going in Portland?

For lunch you should hit up Kenny and Zuke's:

I had one of the best sandwiches I have ever eaten in my life there a month or so ago, I think it was called the Kenny's Special. It was their pastrami and chopped liver served on Jewish rye w/coleslaw and Russian dressing. I also got the matzoh ball soup.

If you are looking for a sleazy good time you should check out one of the many strip clubs. I recommend Mary's Club:

    If you like the ladies.

    And the Silverado:

    If you like the fellas.

Portland's got a few recent award winning chef/restaurants that are definitely on my list for my next trip down to PDX.
This year Portland had 2 James Beard award winners: Gabriel Rucker - Le Pigeon (rising star chef 2011) and Andy Ricker - Pok Pok (best chef NW 2011).

Also, from the Food & Wine magazine camp, Matt Lightner - Castagna was a best new chef in 2010 (1 of 10 nationwide each year).

Have fun putting that big budget to the test!

Here are two places for dinner that I've really enjoyed in PDX. They are both foodie destinations with great cocktails, close to downtown.

Gilt Club- As seen on Portlandia! It's also open late, so it's a good place to unwind after hitting a club. Yelp entry.

Clyde Common- Hipster favorite. It's adjacent to the Ace Hotel, which is also a great place to stay in Portland. Yelp entry.
