  7 0 You can find the snails (Apple snails work well) at Uwajimaya in the frozen food sections, near the fresh fish counter. Sautée them with garlic and butter, parsley and any other herbs you want in the mix and then present them however you wish. If you want to do them in the shells, like the classic French way, you can find the shells at Uwajimaya too, I believe. Just wash them first. If you're talking about finding them at a restaurant, you can get them at Gainsbourg in Greenwood and probably several other French or French-ish restaurants. Typically, it's easier to find them frozen or canned due to food-borne illness concerns.
