What is a Landlord's Obligation to repair laundry facilities?

So I live in a small tri-plex that has a common laundry facility in the city of Seattle. On Friday the only washing machine broke. I've only lived in the building a couple months so I don't have experience getting this landlord to fix anything, but the other tenants have mentioned that this is not the most cooperative landlord. I know that landlords have an obligation to fix appliances supplied with the property within 10 days of written notice, but does that same rule apply to common laundry facilities as well?

"Maintain all electrical, plumbing, heating, and other facilities and appliances supplied by him in reasonably good working order"

    Seems pretty straightforward.

Is laundry a "major plumbing fixture"? If so, they only have 72 hours. Otherwise, 10 days applies.

I am not a lawyer or a landlord.

I could be wrong, but I don't think laundry is a landlords responsibility.

They can have it available, in whatever state of repair (or disrepair) as they wish, for tenants use - but it's not the same as say, the essentail need like the stove or heat & plumbing.

Feel free to correct me if you are a tenant/landlord lawyer etc.
