Know of a good place to get an old school gentlemanly face shave? Straight razor, hot towel, the whole deal?

Mr. Rickibot wants an old-fashioned barbershop shave experience. I was going to take him to Oslo's, but they shut down. I'm not sure Capelli's is what I'm looking for, but that could be wrong (their website only talks about a neck shave, and I'm looking for full-face, but I have no idea if "neck" is some sort of barbershop code for "and your face, too"). Thoughts?

I dunno what "neck shave" is -- maybe touchups for guys with neatly-trimmed beards? But Valentines in Greenwood (at 79th) does a quality hot-towel-and-straight-razor shave.

I've never had the shave there -- I'm chicken, due to an unpleasant experience involving a cat hanging by its claws from my bare buttocks while I was applying the razor to my skin just a millimeter from my jugular -- but I've seen others getting shaved there, and they all seemed happy. Valentine is an interesting character.

Last time I was in Rudy's they said they were going to start this service. Don't know if they have yet. I think I'd be most likely to go there because I loe the idea of the shave but find most of the current choices a little too pricey.

Nathan at Salon Swagger on Cap. Hill does it. My boyfriend has gone to him a few times and had a good experience.
