Reggae-ish instrumental with flexatone intro

For years, I have been trying to identify a track from a Reggae mixtape I used to have. This cassette was stolen from my car no later than 1992.

The tape contained some Marley/Wailers and Third World.

The unknown track was an instrumental, with an intro performed on an odd percussion instrument, that I finally identified recently as a flexatone, samples of which can be heard here:

I wouldn't call the track "classic" reggae; it's a kinda Reggae-fusion thing, I reckon. It may even be a live recording.

The track is approx. 140BPM, and yes, I have already tried QBH a la Midomi, and other search functions, but no joy.

Please help me purge this ear-worm from my brain!

It sounds like something Scientist used in his productions. He was extremely prolific but you could start with the 'curse of the vampire' album and work your way through his dub collections. Was it completely instrumental or were there snippets of vocals?
