Bike trails/bike routes in Seattle

I just started cycling and after having been a driver for so many years in the city, I'm finding it a little challenging to find the safest paths to and from my local haunts on bike. Is there a mapquest-like website anyone knows of that details the safest, most bike friendly routes in the city?

    Also google has a bicycle route option.
