A good recipe for a grape-soda drink?

My beau and I are getting married in october, and in lieu of having a full bar, we are going to be having wine, beer and 2 specialty cocktails of our choosing. She is doing some long island concoction, and I would like to do have a grape soda flavored drink. I've done a little experimentation myself but haven't come up with anything that doesn't taste like Robotussin. Anyone out there have a good recipe?

(How Now) "Purple Cow" Vodka, grape soda, vanilla ice cream- easy on the vodka (or get grape flavored vodka). Oddly enough, dairy and grape soda are a taste sensation. or, perhaps more your speed is the funky "Grappo Bear" - http://www.drinknation.com/drinks/ingredient/grape-soda-700

I absolutely love the "Minnesota Pop" at Zayda Buddy's in Ballard. It includes carbonated grape drink of some sort, vodka, and lemon juice. I've tried to recreate it at home with grape Crush and grape Kool Aid but it's just not the same. I recommend going and trying Zayda Buddy's version and if you like it chatting up the bartender for the recipe.

As a fan of grape flavored *cough* anything *cough* sodas myself, I find myself enjoying a rather fruity yet spectacularly intoxicating drink called a grape nehi, or a purple hooter, depending on your originating coast.

My recipe (a bit strong) doubles the vodka, but does the job all the same:

    1 oz vodka
1 oz chambord (or raspberry liqueur)
    1 oz lemon juice
    Splash of triple sec.

Mix all together over ice in a shaker, serve in a martini glass.

Despite the fairly disparate ingredients, it turns out tasting similar to a grape flavored drinks.

Other recipes call for soda(sprite) and/or sweet and sour, or straight lemon wedges/slices. But find the one that's best for you.

Grape nehi was also the name of the grape soda Radar always got in the show MASH. :D
