Where should I celebrate Bastille Day?

Are the bars or french restaurants that get festive on Bastille day? Are there any free celebrations in the city worth checking out? If all else fails where can I enjoy some good (although not expensive) french wine?

Cafe Campagne always throws a great bash in Post Alley. Yummy, inexpensive food and fun entertainment: http://mr.fusspot.net/pmqC8t

Ima guess that Cafe Presse will be doing something. Don't know anything about overt celebrations. That's kind of a France thing, you know? Perhaps fly in to CDG aeroport and taxi down the Place de la Bastille for the fun? If you're rich n'stuff.

I was taught that non-expensive French (spanish, italian, etc.) wine was probably exposed to overly cold temperatures during transit, or overly hot temperatures during dock-side storage, and were therefore quite suspect. YMMV.

Bastille here in Ballard is having an event, with $5 oysters/charcuterie and a petanque tournament. There is also supposed to be gypsy jazz and burlesque later on in the evening.

Details are posted up on their facebook page:
