Why am I allergic to Portland?I'm in Portland on a business trip, and I've got the WORST allergies. This happens every time I come down here. Weird thing is, I NEVER get allergies back home. Last time I was in PDX I kept getting the watery eyes and red-flushed skin. This time, it's the runny nose. I get sent down here frequently, and I get allergies acting up EVERY TIME. My sister-in-law lives in PDX and says Portland newcomers frequently have allergy issues, but she doesn't know why. Why does Oregon hate me? What is it that I'm so allergic to in Portland that doesn't exist in Seattle? |
