  2 0 Don't buy an inkjet for any reason. They're disposable. As others mention, buy a laser printer. They last longer, better built, and they will print for EVER.   2 0 The short answer is: not really. But getting something better than HP is easy. I have a Canon MX-870 and it's been working just fine. Like every printer the biggest issue is connecting it wirelessly. It's easy to do, but it is quirky and doesn't always work. If you plug it into your computer it's no problem.
