  5 0 I would have to put in a plug for Joss Whedon's Firefly series and the wrap up movie, Serenity. This is a hugely under-appreciated work that has great sets, effects and marvelous scripts/writing. The DVD box set is easy to find for a good price, as well as the movie on Ebay.
