Getting to Orcas via public transit

So Doe Bay Fest is this weekend, and my carpool arrangement fell through. Anyone know of any effective/not insanely cheap way to get to the Anacortes Ferry terminal?

From what I've seen, my best bet is the Belair Airporter Shuttle, but I thought I'd open this up to the people at Questionland for insight (if your insight is "carpool with me!", I think that's by far the best answer possible).

    Zach Shaner wrote a nice piece on how to do this over at Seattle Transit Blog.

    Follow his instructions to ride the bus to the Anacortes Ferry dock, then hop on the ferry to Orcas.
