Brick and mortar store to buy little screwdrivers to change HD in Macbook?

Specifically, I need a Phillips #00 and a Torx T8. I'm going to try Home Depot today. The Mac Store on 45th does not have them. Any other ideas before I drive down to SoDo? I'm not willing to wait for shipping from the internets.

Hardwick's on Roosevelt in the U district has just about everything in the world. I've bought exactly these tools there.

Try Re-PC near the Home Depot you're visiting. Take the MacBook and new hard drive with you. If they don't have the required tools for sale, ask the repair folks whether they would let you use theirs for five minutes.

The last time I had this problem, I did the same at Computer Stop on North Aurora, which by the way, is also not far from a Home Depot.

Finally, if you do end up ordering online, I recommend Other World Computing (OWC). Very reasonable prices and ultra fast shipping.

    Good luck.

capitol hill's Shoprite on 15th has the phillips, but the torx I don't know.
Surely you don't have to use the HomeDepot -- What about:
Ace hardware? Maple Leaf Ace is great. So is Phinneywood's Ace.
The weird oldschool hardware shop across the street from Roosevelt HS nad the Rising Sun produce stand?

Considering picking up the "20-Piece Electronics Bit-Driver Set" at Radio Shack:

Yes, RS tends to sell overpriced items with questionable quality, but this little set isn't too costly and gets decent reviews (you'll find it mentioned on some apple-related forums).

I recently got one and used the 00 to open up a macbook pro. I was just upgrading ram, so I didn't need HD access, but the set comes with a T8 (full list on their site).
