Posca Pens or equivalent?

I saw some amazing artwork done with big fat Posca Pens..apparently they aren't marketed as ART pens, and not sold at art stores.
I have always wanted to do more artwork with pens, but I don't like the overlap color effect, and I thought they were all stinky to high heaven. I guess that isn't always the case anymore...what kinds of pens do you use and where do you get them? Is there a cheap beginners set of your favorite brand?
Thanks!
Oh, also, if you have an artsy website/flickr account you are inclined to share, I'm sure we all would love to see your work!

You might want to test out different kinds. Have you tried Prismacolor pens? They are great, although expensive. Sometimes getting a set is cheaper than buying them individually though. I also sometimes use Sharpies believe it or not. They have various size tips for sharpies from very tiny to super huge. It is kinda cool!

Here is something I did with pens, crayons, paper, glue, etc.

Utrecht makes a cheaper version of art pens. There is also prismacolor , Pantone, copic and tri art. Most of these are double sided so there is a fat chisel tip and a fine point on the other side. They are not stinky as they are all water based. If you want an opaque marker you're prob going to end up with a paint marker type that will be stinky. You can find most of these brands at the following stores, listed in order of cheapest (also you might be able to find discounts) artist and craftsman, Utrecht, university bookstore, dick Blick, dan smith(really overpriced there unless there is a sale).

While you can get sets of all the brands I would suggest getting a few individually of each of the markers and try them fist. Depending on the brand you're looking at between 2-4 bucks a marker

this question is a tad old, but i always loved micron pens [http://www.sakuraofamerica.com/Pen-Archival] when i did tracing for friends' comics. they're a tad pricey but not really all that bad. i definitely recommend getting a full set of them, they're much cheaper that way and definitely worth it. having so many different sizes at your disposal is a plus.
