Do they check bags at Concerts at the Mural?

I'm going to concerts at the mural from the studio and I will be carrying art supplies including knives, carving tools and scissors. Will they check my bag at entry? I keep them all in a case so they are unlikely to cause any harm. I just don't want to be refused entry because of them.
Also is there going to be enough room to have a small meal for two on the grass?

    Do you mean the free KEXP concerts on fridays? If so, there's no one checking anything that I can remember from last year. The only place that has an in/out is the beer garden and all they check are IDs. As for space to sit and eat, I never have had any problems finding a place and lots of people bring food so I would say you have no worries!
