Washington Mutual employment verification?

I'm sure some of you, like me, are former WaMu employees. Do you know what the telephone number for employment verification is? I know Chase acquired them - is their number good to use?

    That's a tough one but you might try this number:

    1-212-270-6000

    It's listed as the "For other questions" number on JP Morgan Chase's website. I would think someone at that number could direct you to the HR Department.

    Also did you get any outplacement paperwork when you lost your job? The contact info might be in those documents if you have them.

    If all else fails call the Chase customer service number and try to get a rep to give you the HR number or corporate reception number.
