Affordable party space for around 50-70 people?

My 30th birthday is coming up, and I was hoping to throw a big bash with a dj and dancing. I was hoping for ideas on an affordable space most likely at a bar or restaurant, but if anyone knows of a loft-type space that would be cool, too.

Thanks.

You could see what Havana is charging. Might be a good spot for your party.

    Capitol Hill offers lots-
The loft on East Union near the oddduck is Pravda Studios, the goldplate standard for lofts-for-rent in the heart of the city.

The odd duck itself, and/or other local theatre spaces, are rentable, unique birthday digs -- likely great rates IF the date lines up well

The all pilgrim's church on Republican and Broadway has many different spaces and rooms for rent, moderate pricing.

If you need a bar, just have it at Garage billiards/bowling? They have 4 private rooms, and the mezzanine will hold your group perfectly.

Nectar's a great spot for this kind of thing, and they have a big patio as well as a second floor. Not sure what they charge, but l think it's all on their site, which l believe is www.nectarlounge.com. If you tell them you're my friend and l sent you (my name is Ali, like 'Allie', not the middle Eastern Ali), they might give you a discount. Cheers and good luck!
