Jeweler who can create a custom sterling silver pendant for a found object?

I want to find a jeweler who can take a small found object (a feather about 1" long) and somehow craft a silver pendant out of it for wearing on a chain around the neck. Not sure if the feather would need to be incorporated into a large-ish customized pendant, or if the quill could be secured in a minimal but permanent way to a small, interesting silver something that could then be hung on a chain. This is a sentimental gift for a teenage boy, so I'd like it to be both very sturdy and really simple. Can anyone recommend a Seattle jeweler who might be willing and able to undertake this? Thanks!

If you don't find a local jeweler, go to Etsy and type in "custom pendant," and then shop around and see what you get. It looks like there's several vendors that make custom pendants with pictures or scraps of paper, and a feather doesn't have that much more depth to it. I bet you could find one who could do it easily.
