What are the best latter-career albums (1990's-present) by great '80's bands/artists?

The general trend is to get more and more mediocre as a successful career proceeds. I love Depeche Mode and Prince, for example, but would only recommend a certain selection of their recent works. Willing to follow recommendations of any real keepers that come to mind.

Not too many Americans are familiar with Gary Numan, but he has an impressive track record. His current sound is much more industrial/gothic than his 80s stuff. I would recommed "Pure" and "Jagged".

While truly a 70's band (and punk at that), The Cure peaked, in my book, with their much later (20th?) album Bloodflowers.
