Though I must say I haven't used Windows in a while and not sure of the latest limits, there are some depending on what you are trying to run. If it's REALLY old you may want to try getting DOSBox, but then you'd need to learn how to configure that as well.   1 0 Im pretty sure you don't. Try it on another computer. Do you know WHY it's not compatable (was it made for an older system, newer system, Mac only, etc ) do you get any info when you put the disc in ( like it won't play but you can open folders on the disc?). What type of disc is it?
